Doing something different
Posted by Nova on Jun 14th 2017
Way back when I was a teenager, I loved visiting a local gaming store. I loved playing MTG, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and D&D. It has been years now and I decided to liquidate my cards.
I considered posting them on my site, but I don't feel that my customers are the target audience. Like any business I want to get as much profit from my merchandise as possible. But holding on to items I don't know how to sell properly doesn't sound like a good idea. I remember my favorite store couldn't lower their prices EVER, because they were afraid of selling it for less than full value, even if the value had long since fallen. I really don't want to be like that. As a business I should be able to adjust prices based on market value.
I've decided some money now is better than more money years later (if I am able to sell it at all).
So, I decided to sell my best cards to another business. Today I shipped off 60 cards to TrollAndToad.com.
I will keep you informed on how it goes. I'm kind of nervous, this isn't something I normally do.
Pray for me,
Nova
